A maiden is an uncut tree. our avenue of oak trees have now all sadly been cut,i have just finished my fungi report and for safty they had to be topped we did leave one but the wind caught it and it got root heave and would have gone over:001_smile:

I have lots of maidens i was looking at on yesterday went for a walk in the park with the wife and dogs and we stood looking at this oak a monster it has a lightning strike which has now healed over or should i say sealed over :001_smile:
