These things always seem to happen in spates. Had a vehicle stolen a few years ago in Staffs. They took my Isuzu pick up as I was stood next to it. I'd reversed it and a trailer up a wet grass verge in low box, got out and was talking to the client when a bloke appeared from nowhere, jumped in and drove off. I'd left the keys in but was only 6' away from the truck!

Police said that six 4x4s had been stolen that day in Stafford and the probability was they'd be in crates bound for Southern Ireland or Arab states. Never did turn up.
