HUSKY 560XP niggles

Bought a 560xp on a 68dl from my local husky dealer the other day to replace my tired 365, i got it for full time hand cutting work.

Good saw, light, ergonomic and powerful. The only drawback i have found so far is a slight delay in pickup from time to time, it has a little "blllluuu" when you activate the throttle trigger before it picks up. Just wandered if anyone else has this problem???

maybe i am jumping to conclusions too soon as i have only fired 13 tanks throught it, i just didnt expect it from a new saw.

Ive had the same thing happen on myn occasionally, when you pull the throttle theres a momenterry blurr like you said but after that its fine, maybe its the autotune in the saw, i did have trouble with myn cutting out, someone said to me that huky have released a revised version of the 560, you had any other problem?

Spudulike the saw comes with a micro proccesor that tunes the saw automaticaly

Sounds like the chip needs to be re-mapped:001_rolleyes: looks like I will need to swap the £0.50p screwdriver for £1500 laptop and ancillary software/hardware to fix saws now - what a life, they call this progress!

i was in the workshop of a rather large tree firm today and was amazed to see no less than 5 broken 560's. dont think i will look at one for a long time . on the plus side we have had the T540 on trial for the last 3 weeks and i must say i will not be buying another 201T ! infact as soon as the T540 is for sale i will be selling the hardly used 201T (AKA - paper weight/door stop) !!
