Storm damage Edinburgh

Got called out on Friday after Thursday's 1mph winds to remove the roof from a cherry tree. Never seen this before so thought people would like to see. Roof slates etc had already crashed onto their brand new merc s class, M3 and Subaru impreza. Gutted. Enjoy

A friend reminded me about moving the truck away from the house and trees to avoid slates and branches falling on it. A good idea I think!

To be honest I didn't see a huge amount of damage. This was a weird one. It was towards the top of Lanark road in Edinburgh so I guess as it was more open to the wind the roof got it tight. Don't think I'll ever see that again though.

Yeah J. The guys cars got some bad damage from the roof slates. Thinking there will be a long couple of phone calls to insurance companies for them.
