A friend of mine has started pig farming again after going off the rails for 6 years after his wife died.He now lives in his woods in a caravan with his free range pigs, real happy pigs. have a look at his website nice photos.Heartwell Farm, Wolsingham Weardale

Pig farming is a very tough way to make a living, good luck to him and i hope the locals realise the quality of his meat compared to the supermarket imported rubbish that most people buy.

I won't be buying from him as I get my pork from a lad I went to school with down the road, but all the luck in the world to him!

Good luck to him, hard to get the margin for outdoor pigs these days, people are used to concentration camp prices.
