pollarding some crappy willows for gareth off here today, easy enough work though, few targets had a phone wire accross the drive way otherwise these would have been 1 cut jobbys, also a few shrubs under and a fence apart from that just drop it, done all three before lunch, LADDERS used well, since there were being left at 15ft as straight stem pollards so no spikeing under that level :001_smile:

Has the client given any indication that it'll be you who continues with future management?

the client has told gareth he will get him back as gareth has advised to keep taking the regrowth off every 2 years or so

Nice one. :001_smile:

It sometimes puzzles me when a client seems pleased with your work but then starts to think if they can do the next bit cheaper!

Nice video btw.

Yep we know that and we did advise , but what the client wants the client gets :001_smile:

I know what you mean mate, if you don't do it someone else will. Some customers just won't be advised will they.

Nope they certainly won't .. It was the safest thing to do anyway as there were two beside them that fell over last year and these had a few splits up the main stem .They are right beside a natural pond and to be honest once they were finished they didn't look to bad, with some epi growth on them next year they'll probably suit their location .. I hope :001_smile:
