i woudnt want to fell a rowan if i had the choice.

why witches cordwood?why not christians or muslims. being a wiccan my self we find it diffucult to shake off the bad Witch image. Witches are good or bad ,like christinans , sikhs ecte they can be good or bad. sorry if im ranting dont take it as a crictisim:001_smile:. Just re educating the world.

good post thou.

No offence meant, but in Scotland most houses that were built in more superstitious times had a Rowan tree in the garden to keep witch's away, don't know whether they differentiated between differing type's of witch, good or bad.

But alledgedly it's bad luck to cut them down, that's what got me thinking about the whole superstition thing!

Hopefully no-one is talking about any of this superstition with a serious note? If there's a practical reason to not bring a particular wood into a house, or chopping a particular genus of tree down, then let's hear it. Otherwise it's plain silly. Sorry to go on, "just re-educating the world".
