went to London yesterday and took down this poplar stem for another tree firm, some1 had already climbed it and got the brash off, all we had to do was get it on the floor, it looked small but there was loads of timber in it, quite a small drop zone too

That's a big old boy Matt. Always a little dodgy when they are as hollow as that one; not much left to form a hinge.

We went down to Enfield once to take down a Robinia to make room for a swimming pool. I was up this tree and shouted down to the groundie to move something on the ground that I didn't want to damage, he didn't know what I meant so I shouted "what's that brown thing down there?" One of the Londoner builders shouted, "a turd!"

I heard they were in testing but not yet released, must be a demo:scared:

Yeah apparently for comfort it blows everything else out of the water:biggrin: I wonder if Matt would give us a review:lol::thumbup1:

They are extremely comfortable and I would thoroughly reccomend them, they are called (the Common Sense, Allertness, and Brains Mach1) and they are manufactured by a company called Experience and Old School, the only thing is they are getting harder and harder to get hold of, apparently some were stolen and destroyed by a load of clever people with uni degrees, fluorescent jackets, and clipboards, only trouble was that they didn't understand how or why they worked cause they had never used them, however if you want one pm me, cause I have a little stash tucked away.........

 I still have my old one in my kit bag just for those platform jobs :blushing:
