Turned up on site one day to see his 7 year old son taking apart a Poplar log (that Dave had felled) with his old man's axe. Looked a complete natural but scared the bejesus out of me when I saw how close to his feet he was getting. Dave said if his kid clipped his foot he'd learn real quick to be more careful next time. For anyone that's interested in the sport he's worthwhile watching on youtube.
