Yes. This evening I came across some waterpipe roadworks and the warning signs were all correct including distances however the portable traffic lights were running both on Green - Green / Red - Red at the same time both directions so almost had a head on crash with a van. Stopped to mention this to the eight blokes stood around looking down a hole and the response from the boss was "this is how it should be". The Irish lad said to him "even in Ireland this would not happen"........ I thought all roadworks people had to go on a training course now?

they do- 1 operative on site at all times+ 1 supervisor on the firm.

The lights should have been on sensor.

We got accused this week- 'you're always cutting bits off trees' - yes madam it's to prevent the double decker busses hitting them-

Don't get double deckers down here she says. Immediately one appeared.

She stormed off muttering- hilarious
