I have a 2100 which my mate offered me back the other day after having had it borrowed for two years.

Don't know what year its from though? When did they stop making them?

He said it wouldn't start and he'd got a good deal on a new 'old' Husky as the new models are about to come out.

Put some petrol in, half a dozen pulls on choke two more on 1/2 throttle and off she went like a good 'un!

I told him he was being gay and not pulling hard enough!

It is surplus to my requirements and in good condition if anyones interested, bid me, 28" bar on 3/8 chain.

Husky 181, new in 1983, still working.

We did have a 1981 2100, but it got nicked a few years ago.

iv used a 181 at work experience, awsome saw! my boss has got loads of old saws from when his dad used to own the business, hes also got a 2100, a stihl 064AV and loads of others. no chance of him lending them to me thow lol

i did a few jobs with just a silky, a bow saw mite be better for bigger stuf but i dont fancy cutting many logs without a chainsaw. so ebay is best avoided, i gess its best to have a good look befor i buy?

thanks for the help

pete
