Badger cubs at this time of year, badgers give birth Feb/March, so they must have been there a long time?

yeah ive just done some research and youre right, cubs are born in febuary, only got the call tonight so havent been to investigate, there was certainly nothing in the butts on monday?? and i dont think that 4 x 8 month old badgers would fit in a water butt, they are heaving with maggots apparently, im thinking that they may be dog pups, will investigate tomorrow in the day light
