Ive posted this before...they are great spikes imo.Perhaps the best aspect is that they are not adjustable ( length ) which means matey couldnt borrow them even if he wanted too...!

Try passing the velcro strap directly around the stem/shank instead of thru' the eye, which has a tendency to twist and turn and get itself in an awkward position which will frankly result in a premature failure of this part of the gear....

( Sorry tp plug treebuzz Steve...there is thread on the site re replacement buckle innovation there if you look hard enuff!! lol :001_tongue: )

I have the velcro version and have no problms with them. i have given up trying to get them to sit right in the metal eye tho.

 

I had thought about changing to straps when i first got them, this would mean also removing the velcro that goes around the back of the heel which is great as you can fine tune how far forward or back the spike/stirrup is and get them even more comfy.
