Should be able to take the whole thing apart to replace parts so I would imagine so... But I'm thinking I seem to remember the back of the unit is closed and even with the clutch off you would not get an eye through... Will check tm if you don't get an answer.

I think it slips on a flipline... i saw someone using one on a flipline and it was constantly slipping.

May just have been needing the cam replaced but if i was you i would check up on it before using it on a flipline.

Says on there site it's fine with wire cores?? But I have never thought about it on a wire core as it's Easyier to use a vt and pulley as its a soft link in the system.... Can't fault it on a rope lanyard though!

I've got one and had it supplied on a wire core line. It doesn't bite as it should and I feel should only be fitted on normal side strops as there is not enough flex for it to bite well on the wire core. It can be disassembled using two different Allen keys. Had to do this on the spider jack and positioner after loler check. Just make sure you have it the tight way round before you build it back up ha ha. cheers

I wouldn't suggest using it on a wire core hurts the ribs.
