Cooking with a potjie pot

Anyone else got one of these? Bought one at the weekend, cooked up a mean stew and dumplings in it Sunday night, and this afternoon baked a bannock loaf, so far so good. Anyone got any other recipes they've tried?

I knew you would, apparently the pot gets better with age, and enhances the flavour of the food. The Bannock loaf took 45mins to cook, but it was worth the wait. The Stew and dumplings took an hour, and a few bottles of finest local beer while waiting, but the dumplings came out soooooo light and fluffy!

Tho Iam partial to a drop of broadside, tis a tad strong for light drinking, so I opted for some St Peters ale http://www.stpetershallsuffolk.co.uk/aboutus/brewery.php try some if you get the chance, you'll not be disappointed!!
