Im pretty sure it was pre planned we was broken into at the beggining of the year same style had bolts cutters or similar cut through fence and through a secure storage but first of all nothing was taken and it happened in a half term we thought maybe kids found bolt cutters and put them to use possibley?

so upped our security informed police and all the usual this time they took out the fence and again used their bolts cutters to gain access into our storage this time though they must of forced the locks on our first entrance gate and brought a van in to the second gate hell of a treck to get the stuff out but they they took the fence out alongside the second gate and obviously loaded it through there, they knew what they was after have the police coming out tomorrow to check it all out im pretty sure they are local but we will probably never see it again. im yet to speak to my neighbour to see as he usually spots everything on our drive its just seems strange that every time they have hit our place its been through the half term over the past two years,we are not at all happy but lesson learnt nothing will be left there again :(

In caerleon just outside newport ,im bloody tamping they have caused so much damage as well as taking our stuff they damaged the fence and the gate ,the hinge has dropped somehow and the gate now drags on the floor as a result of them forcing it im not sure if they tried to remove it(we put the hinge on upside down so they could not do that) but managed to get our lock over the top somehow so definatly went equipped .so we have all that to sort out now too more cost again

sasha, it def. sounds like they new what they were shopping for. I hope you recover your stolen property. may I suggest a thread on stolen kit I did a few months back called means and methods of protecting your kit from theft. Some of the information may be old hat and than againg some may be more helpful for the future. Take care.
