Short of the back boiler dissolving, there is no such thing as a rayburn beyound repair. Most old rayburns need completly taking apart and re-building every 10 years or so. It is not difficult as it all bolts together, and all the seams around the fire box need sealing with fire cement to make the fire box air tight.

Cheers for the help guys, I'm no expert but from what I can see the fire box has self imploded, and can now see straight through into oven.
