Hydraulic power pack

Not being picky.......but if its 3 phase why is there a 13 amp plug in the photo????????????

It will be running a transformer and the voltage from that (12 or 24 volt) will be used to operate the solenoid valves.

The cable for the motor will be the one with no plug top left in the picture

I think the price is a tad high, here’s one on the bay for less (vat notwithstanding) and it has an oil cooler.

Thank you treequip for explaining perfectly the reason for the 240v 3 pin plug.:thumbup1:

The price is perhaps a little on the steep side, but it's open to offers, so it's only logical that I should want to set the bar high so to speak... :001_smile:

Well you can always come down in price although the seller of that item has had it listed prevoiusly for less:confused1:

looks like a standard induction motor to me, a bouncy castle blower runs at a very wattage and looks the same size 240v - i had loads of them - pick one up for £20 ans swap it.

Not a prayer, it might look similar but it can be argued that a Porsche looks something like a Punto, box shaped with a wheel at each corner.

Your single phase low wattage motor will stall and burn out is you ask too much of it

not so sure, my 30ft by 30ft had a 2500watt start up and a constant 1800watt.

may be i'm wrong - just a thought thats all..

It was probably 3000 rpm and wont have the torque on start up different beast. That motor single phase will pull 12 amps and need in excess of 50 amps to start so you wont plug it in next to the iron.

I dont get the ebay thing I have put items on with a reserve of £2000 they finish at £500 then I get some geek giving me abuse because I wont take £400 . I dont see ebay as the holy grail of plant and equipment valuations. If I put an expensive item on fee listing day and it does not sell I have lost nothing :001_smile:
