Just wondered if anyone knows any info regarding the veteran trees further management guide referred to in the new 3998? Can't find anything on Google...

Cheers

are you refering to;

'Veteran trees: a guide to good management' by Dr Helen Read

as in the Bibliography on p64 ?

or 'Veteran Trees: the Future for Veteran Trees' ?

No, ancient and other veteran trees: further guidance on management.

It says in the latest 3998 it is in preparation at the time of publication if this British standard.

Wondered when it is prepared and ready :thumbup:

Any news on this, anybody?

Also I missed this first time round, where might I get a copy Mr H?

I have the impression that it is possibly close to the printing stage, the editorial board are in the process of selecting shots for the cover & specific sections.

I'll try & find out when its due.
