Hi all,

as the title suggests, i'm after a template for a Job variation sheet/form

preferably something i can print off myself.

to be used to authorise extra works on site and then be signed off by the site manager.

Any ideas greatfully recieved.

thanks, dave

just found out, the proper name is a 'CVI' sheet (Confirmation of Verbal Instruction)

found a couple on the internet but i'd like to make sure its the right thing before i spend my £5-50

Found out to my cost cvi are not worth the paper there written on.They need to be backed up with written instructions from the client. A large national construction company issued cvi's to us, the quantity surveyors refused to pay as we had not agreed rates or recived an order from the surveyor, A VERY costly experiance. I domestic work they might be better, I would make them detailed

my brothers a site manager for a large construction co.

working away atm so he's no good, but the firm he works for was recently taken to court about this and the contractor won.

probably never got anymore work, but won.

we're on our second page now, put everything on it, the 10' stringy hawthorn taken out, the 13 extra stumps to be ground out....all on, all to be paid for

hopefully

lol
