Heater light

I have a 2000 35 - 150h

Just curious as to what to check on it, as the heater plug light doesn't go out like it does on all the other timberwolfs i've used, is it a possibility that there may be a glow plug down etc??? i can hold it on heater for a while and it still doesn't go off.....

Also when left in the run position (key) i can remove it and it still runs, should it be like this?

cheers :thumbup1:

Hi Swinny

The first thing to do is to change the ignition switch for the engine as from your description it sounds worn out.

This may solve all of the problems but will definatly resolve the key removal issue,

If you are still experiencing glow light troubles I would defer you to our engine supplier who has the expertise in this field, they are UEP and can be contacted on 0844 2092514 and ask to speak to Richard or Dave

Hope this helps

Hi

The glow light is meant to go out when the engine starts

The reason to replace the ignition switch is due to the key being able to be removed and the engine still running .

This is a safety issue which must be addressed as soon as possible, by the replacement of the switch it may give you the result you are seeking on the glow led.
