Now thats a top boss to take the rap - ours wouldn't.

 

How much does your councils H&S officer know about arb & forestry work John? what ours knows I could right on the back of a 1st class stamp!

 

Bugger-all Matt !

 

I keep offering to take them out on site to see how we work....No takers yet :confused1:

glad its not just us then!!! ours came out to site to day I was prepared with a pile of paerwork, RA's Ms's the guys & gals had a tool box talk about slips,trips, falls we were coppicing willows roughly 2 acres to do. H&S guy arrived and wanted to close the job down straight off as we were leaving stumps 6-8"ish tall!!!:scared1::scared1: I had to take a very large deep breath and count to a million before I replied explaining what coppicing was!

Hey they have to justify there job or they would end up unemployed then they would have to get a "proper" job and work for a living :sneaky2:
