i would expect you to be able to get a used japa 700 in pretty good nick for £3-4k. my japa 700 is i think nearly 15 years old now, owned by me for 3 years, i would suggest if you're producing <250cm per year this machine would be fine for you. i run mine with two men, one on processor and other on stand alone splitter easily producing 2 cube per hour. have the right timber to process and i would think the rate would double.:001_smile:

thanks steve, is a 2006 700 worth 4k inc paint faded but works ok??? what sort of output can they do? reliability? regards andy

 

i would bite their hand off..., i've not even had to tension the belts on mine yet! (i do keep checking them!)
