Well I am not familiar with that model but small plant ignition circuits are simple enough affairs

Generally speaking you will have

A permanent live wire: This comes from the battery to the back of the switch, it will probably be a heavier gauge of wire than the rest and may have a bigger spade terminal.

 

A switched live or two: One will go to the charge circuit which in this case will probably be to one terminal on the back of the red “charge warning light”, if there are any other switched lives they will go to things like the hours clock.

 

A momentary live for the starter that goes to the terminals on the starter, it will be the smallest wire but look out because the permanent live may just come from the back of the starter. There may also be a wire for the heat circuit if it’s a diesel.

 

The wires should be colour coded, if they aren’t you may need a test lamp to sort out what does what.

The Dosco doesnt have a clock,& runs a Kholer or honda petrol engine,the above diagrams are for the hydraulic wheel drive models (691).

Treequips tips will help if its a different model,the wiring is pretty basic.:thumbup1:
