22kn is the minimum most stuff designed for climbing is between 22kn and 25kn although as with everything there are exceptions

I've got a spiderjack and I love it! It does take a while to get used to it but once you do its great!:001_tt1:
does the spider have two brake thingys on it and whats with the wood bit , i tested a lockjack at the apf didnt like it much think the spiderjack may be better for me ..

i have both and tbh they are totally different although i do have safety issues with the spiderjack but am climbing on the spider at the mo

I think at the price they are you need to be sure your going to like it and the clutches do not last forever especially if your rope is dirty or are on the heavy side

 

if the clutch starts to slip wash your rope and its amazing what a difference it makes
