Saltex show next week Tues 6th to Thursday 8th at Windsor racecourse

Just got back home - 5am start this morning to get the plane over and back in the same day. Good show this year, all the big machinery names were there - think some do it every other year now. As Rob says plenty to drool over.

 

Had a good look and a demo of the quad chip -quite impressed.

 

AES rough cut ride-on; the best of the rough cut mowers.

 

There was a german guy selling manual pot and big tree lifters behind the Avant loader stand - very clever and simple bits of kit and adaptable.

 

Also on on the Avant loaders they now have a 4x4 wheel drive mewp. No more trashing sites with track machines and much quicker. About 2.1t weight and 40ft plus high with good outreach

 

Lots of salt spreaders - funny how this year everyone seems to be pushing spreaders and snow blades.

 

Oh and some dodgey guy on the FR Jones stand sold me some sporty Stihl torches for my twin boys. Good to meet you again Justin:biggrin:

Was a great show for us, but I'm knackered now and got to do it all over again next weekend at the Weald Wood Fair.
