Todays job, starting work on a group of Beech trees in Worcester. All the trees except one turned up their toes this summer.....

Yes mate...have a look and see if you can 'name that tune in one' I was supprised as to the extent of the decay to be honest! The site is an area of land we manage for dean and chapter, opp. Worcester cathedral.

Nice bit of work. Are they straight fells? How are you getting rid of the timber?

To be honest I haven't even bothered to get on my knees and have a close look yet...think it may be G pfeifferi. I'll have a good look tomorrow.

 

As for the timber, I made a few calls...no one was interested...If anyone wants it you'd better contact me soon...I'll be firewood by the weekend.
