I have an 08S that I've just done some work on. It's been in the family for years and is still a great saw for occassional use. It is bulky and heavy next to new saws but all I use it for is some heavy pruning and cutting firewood.

Parts are still readily available too.

I could go out and spend a few hundred quid on a new saw but it'd do just the same job at the end of the day.
