Impossible competition, there will be no winner.

I had an idea after reading through alot of threads and posts and noticing the passion we all have for the whole genre (or certain aspects at least), which made me realise that Im not alone in my constant quest for knowledge and just idle chat about trees and climbing trees.

So for a laugh, For one night only, I think we should organise a get together exactly halfway down (or up) the country( check google maps for exact measurements) in a woodland or forest based public house setting and deliberatley .........NOT talk about anything tree related!!!!! "Impossible", I hear you cry.

I think so too. In fact Im so bad at it that the opening lines of my wedding speech went along the lines of "I wont bore you too much because as you all know if I am allowed to talk for longer than 2 minutes I will drift off into something Tree related".

So whos up for the challenge???

Disclaimer: this is just for fun and I dont intend on organising any such competition or meeting, there are no prizes up for grabs, theres probably no pub in a woodland directly in the centre of Britain, and in fact after Cannocks Chase I dont intend drifting south of the Humber Bridge till at least 2012 (far too many mincers.)hahahaha

Seeing as it darned near impossible to have such a conversation, and i'd hate mixing with a bunch of northern Shandy drinking wooses anyway, cant really see the point of leaving the comfort of my home:001_tongue:

Plus you might have to go up a hill and get altitude sickness :001_tongue:
