New Conehead Chipper

what type of money do you expect the above Conehead to come out at? looks a pretty simple design, the only thing I hate on this type of chipper is the anti-stress, they just don't seem to get it right imo
I'd rather not say on a public forum....:sneaky2:

So you didnt like the 1175 then. It is just your opinion...

 

What is it you dont like about the auto feed? you realize that they are fully programmanble? you can set the stop, delay, reverse time, everything.

Just a quicky Ed, I don't want to be accused of Hijacking a thread again this week :closedeyes: but:

 

Is it possible or easy to modify the Bandit to have a split second reverse when the stress control stops the feed?

 

One of the problems is the feed stops but hold the material against the blades heating them up and slowing the engine building it's revs back up.

yes, all the bigger bandits have it - but it needs a more complex hydralic curcuit to achieve what you say. on th econehead you could set the reverse delay time, say for very wet cloggy material, to allow the discharge chute to clear.
