Crichel Estate Walk

Yesterday i went for a 13 mile walk with an old work colleague around Crichel Estate. I took my dads Konica Minolta Dimage Z2 to get some shots of some of the specimen trees in the woods.

Pics 30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40 + 41 - Big rotten ash with lots of Ganoderma applanatum and another fungi which forms velvety carpets.

It hoofed down for about an hour. We sheltered under a massive barn and watched Stonechats, Redstarts and Whitethroat in the adjacent barn feeding off the left over grain.
