1st climbing comp

What are involved with the comps? I can do all but cant footlock to save my life. Would really like to compete but am afraid will look like a tit if cant footlock.

yea i wouldnt mind checking it out not compete but see what it's all about but nothink down here on the isle of wight & dont know where they hold them in the UK ...yea & footlocking head climber showed me some of that i looked like i didnt know the location from my head to my arse

Just enter you will not make a fool of yourself if you can't footlock, the foot lock event is only worth a mximum of 20 points for the fastest, your then deducted a point for each second your off the fatest time. The big points are in the Aerial Rescue and Work climb events.

Besides everyone is really supportive and get behind you no matter how good you are.

Last comp i went to there was one girl competing who had only been climbing a matter of weeks, and i failed to score in footlock and speedclimb yet still did o.k for a first event, and no where i need to improve for next time.
