Just wondering if a hand winch could be mounted on a backing plate below a lowering block like a Rc3001 and used in conjunction with a prussic to lift or pull limbs.

 

Your thoughts please :001_smile:

A simple push stick could be used to advance or retract the prussic so that the lenght of pull on the winch line could be a decent ammount and not just a couple of feet

cant see any reason why it wouldnt work as long as you didnt overload the winch, might be a bit of a pain if you didnt set the prussic high enough and then you would have to lock it off reposition the prussic and finish it off but it should work anyway.

Curious comment tirfors not for lifting I know of a guy that uses tirfors for lift monster sized steels in place also mine t35 has 5t pull 3t lift on its makers plate.????
