Unless you got a spore ident i suggest you may be wrong! and as far as strategy and liability is concerned there is much to differentiate them!

 

Damn...I wasn't entirely convinced. Back to the drawing board:001_smile:

Just a couple of shots from today. Tree is having a light reduction. Hope I have my id right!

I think this is an annual Ganoderma, probably G. resinaceum, because of the shiny red "lacquered" surface showing to the left side of the left reddish brown spore covered bracket.
