Im guessing your name is top of the list for the November Ted Green meeting, and Mr Lonsdale, Should be very good.

I must admit since attending seminars, courses and this and that over the last two years, ive banged on twenty pounds in timber, but I just cant decline the grub is too damn good at these things. some days i do not want to leave.

Its no wonder some consultants get a girth as they get older, and stop climbing.

You know me well my friend!

as for stepping down and spreading by incremental growth, I walk and climb for up to 11 hours on my days off, on my self study approach to woodland ecology, so I doubt I will ever need to worry too much about the odd bacon and egg roll!:thumbup1:

are you going to the ted/lonsdale lecture?

Actually - my name is top of the list ! This because Ive been trying to pin down the seminar since missing it last year ! (Lonsdale)

Barcham's sent notification with directions to call ahead should delegates fail to make the booking/ They are aware of this issue mate! 67 is full capacity and Ive sat in many a seminar- it gets a little packed there and a few non attendees is welcome frankly !

However, I take your point mate and yea, its a shame people cant be a bit more thoughtful when others go to the lengths they do to make this available, for free, with the absolute minimum of fuss or asking for thanks !

Some folk travel quite inordinately long distances across the UK to make these seminars Perhaps at the behest of their employers but all the same, whilst its popular, its a long trek for some folk and I guess there'll always be a few "non-starters" - Have another burger and chill man !:001_tongue:
