Hazard Limb Reduction

Innonotus hispidus in residence, branch leaning toward footpath.

Woodpecker hole, now nesting site for Ring tailed Parakeets above the Fruiting site.

Reduced end weight to back inside fenced enclosure, partially maintained the decaying host and habitat, and chucked in a Coronet for good measure.

Crowns misshapen, Coro can't really been seen from below and I'll no doubt have to go back to reduce the crown when the Innonutus gets hold of the remaining structure.

But remember.........It aint in Mrs Miggins back Garden :001_tongue:

Monkeyd, if Parakeets were nesting in the tree should you be working on it? Not trying to be funny but I thought the Wildlife and Countryside act applies?

He said it is a nesting site, not that it is currently in use. Not a good time of year to be hatching, although i have seen several fledglings in the last week.

Very good point DM, but no nesting this time of year.

Plenty of dive bombing from the little green goblins though.

They are very teritorial.
