Japa 100 blade trouble...

There should be 2 nuts

 

I have only one nut and a round spacer there is a round spacer on the spindle with a lip wher the blade sits on but i cant get the blade to sit on this. is there a parts diagram for the japa 100 as got no paperwork with it, it came from Fuelwood. i will get some pics tomoz to see whats missing...

hi mate,

they can be very sketchy/snatchy things. sometimes a saw doctor can sort the problem providing the blade is not too warped. new blades are not that dear either if things turn sour and i can pass on manufacturer details for the best price. its worth trying a blade with more teeth as i have which makes the cut smoother and eliminates pretty much any snagging.

Blades arent that cheap a koll blade costs £348 the cheap ones been there got the tee shirt they just keep snapping the teeth off cost you more in the long run.Also the blades i get have every other tooth missing this helps eliminate the snatching this is what ive found & my machine runs 7 days a wk in the winter 10hrs a day.Hope this is of help
