Does anybody use any BS 5837 specific software in particular the one below, i see it as a great time saving device but would like some feedback off anyone who has used it or an equivelant before i stump the cash :001_smile:

Not particularily helpful for you, as my surveying is strictly Vet and Safety, not 5837.

 

But for a single use licence, 500 quid doesn't appear too excessive to me.

Is there an additional software maintenance charge?

 

Have you used the 30 day demo yet?

yep got it on at the moment but cant get it to accept any map data... I am interested as i can see it saving time fiddling about and adding data to autocad manually.. Think i will probably get it to run in the feild on my toughbook, will save huge amounts of time :001_cool:

I've been looking for something similar myself - I'm hoping for something that allows you to adjust the graphic output - tree survey drawings can be hard to read if you get the wrong blue or grey, or the line types aren't right.

 

Also some 'add on' programmes seem to take longer or become more fiddly than doing it manually through AutoCAD.
