This shows the power of Arbtalk combined with the great people on here. I work with a mate called Spike (Arbogrunt) and we have a job to do in Geoff's neck of the woods next Friday. I got in touch with Geoff to ask him about local tip sites to offload the brash from the job and he did even better, letting us use his personal site, saving us a few 30 mile round trips to our usual site. Top man!:thumbup::thumbup:

Arbogrunt and I did the job today and Geoff excelled himself. Not only did he turn up to give us a hand because he was at a loose end, he brought his truck and chipper with him and turned what could have been a real grueller of a day into a total breeze. Cheers mate, you're a star! Looking forward to working with you in the future and repaying your kindness.

:thumbup1:Well it was fun,I sat about(as usual), arbogrunt impessed me with his climbing and work flow on a hard climb,Felix the whopper made me feel handsome,(and that is hard work),and Sam just made me work harder on the chipping, he was a whirling dervish on the drag...thanks all three of you for putting up with me!

I had a great day.:001_smile:

The dog is NOT happy,he never got a mention for his tolerance and gentle nature!

...its true, that was 13mm arborline until Al got on the end of it...now I've got enough bootlaces for life!. It always pays to check your anchor points, I usually get 2 blokes to put their weight on the line prior to climbing..or Al!
