thistles

i have a huge thistle in my garden called a scottish cotton thistle now about 9feet tall ,silver and covered in cotton wool has anyone else seen these i have grown them for a few years now i would put pictures on if i knew how if someone can give an idiot guide to do it:confused1:

If they'll grow then how about putting some artichokes in to keep them company?

We used to have some at my parents old house before the moved, fantastic things I seem to remember they only flowered every other year though?

they grow to about 6 inches in the first year then grow to be massive with about 40 flowering heads the next the birds love the seeds aswell

They're really impressive plants and I like them a lot
