non genuine piston and pot - any advice?

Got it up and running last week and gave it a couple of days in some smaller birch as a gentle run in before letting rip on some bigger stuff and so far it seems to be running well.

 

One thing we did notice is it doesn't sound quite as aggressive as mates slightly older one but that might be down to slightly different exhausts maybe?

 

Should get to run them side by side this coming week which should be good.

It would be interesting to do some timed runs using the same bar and chain on both saws - that will prove which has more power!

Already got next project, just snaffled a jonsered 2159 off ebay for £51, might be a simple fix but even if needs piston and pot it'll still be a cheap back up middle saw
