Which gaff for Geckos?

I don't quite understand Ben. Do you like the euro gaffs now after struggling with them at first?

i like them, I like the space they give and they hook over branches and stubs well with out snagging as much as straight gaffs do.

 

Lots of pals have tried my spikes and found the shape of the euros too much but i reckon you get used to it.... Nice and sharp helps and I think you said yourself about the technique being a little different, or was that another post?

 

Having said that I do use straight gaffs too... spares are about 45 quid i think.

 

Are you going to try and get the shop to swap the gaffs over for you?
