Botex 3500 Specification

Hi, I'm looking at buying a forwarding trailer with a Botex 3500 Crane on it. A mate of mine is looking for a crane that will pick up 2 tonne @ 2m. I just want the trailer. I'm trying to work out if the crane will do him.

It's from the 1980's.

 

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

the 3500 is the small one, which I think is now the 360 - though chances are the 3500 could be a bit shorter.

 

I'd be very surprised if that crane would lift 2 tonne at 2 metres.

The Guy selling it said it's equivalent to a modern 550lt. I have my doubts.

I have a 5050 which is a 90s crane. That will lift 1.7t next to the trailer. I've used a 560TL both roof and trailer mounted and that will dead lift about 2.5t close in.

I've tried getting a response from Wilson's, but not getting anywhere.

Any ideas who else might know?

My advice would be to try and lift 2 tonnes at 2m with the crane. Thats the only way to be sure.

I live in the South West of Ireland and the trailer lives in the North East of England. Long way to go. The info must be out there somewhere....

That crane will not lift 2t at 2m. As someone said above it is similar to the 360TL which is part of the Botex smaller range.
