I got chased out of an ash tree by a nest of bee's 2 or 3 years ago...was about 25 ft off the floor on the main rope so I had to drop out, unhook myself and run like buggery...they chased me for a couple of hundred yards at least across a field, chainsaw bouncing around behind me on the tool strop. I got stung about 12 times in all, on the legs and arms...not a very pleasant experience...

I came across an angry nest in a hedge, I was booked up solid and couldn't come back at a later date.

I asked the lady of the house if she has a can of hairspray, she brough one and I used it as a flame thrower at the nest while my mate tapped it with a stick, poor little buggers were all over the floor with no wings.

Worked a treat though, 2 or 3 minutes and we were back doing the hedge
