Ive used one at eryc (im a seasonal groundsman) and I recon they are really good and very easy to use. Though at the moment its in the fitters shop for a new middle blade bearing (triple rotary thingy on it)

Ive no idea how old it is but its taken everything weve thrown at it with ease.

It is prone to leaving divots if it gets hung up on somthing. ie wheel spin!

having said that ive never used the honda!

We use both the scag and the dane and you would not expect to find a big difference in either seen as they were both design and built by the same man (Dane Scag),i think john deere now own dane(something to do with a law suit).

Dont get me wrong the dane is a good work horse but it just does not seem as well put together as the scag, and i'm talking about a 10 year old scag vs a brand new dane!!

I should really have said that unless your careful you can get it grounded and itll leave wheel marks on grass (skid marks and divots), and if loading on and of a trailer you need to watch the break over angle (if that makes sense) or you will bend part of the deck/guards!

tis a good mower though, sounds welll too!
