Last summer i had a really nice old chap call into our yard and asked if he could have a net bag of logs,yep no problem £4.50 please he said thats a bit dear, so feeling sorry for him i said go on then £3.00, With that he went away happy and i thought i had done my good deed for the day ,This went on untill the bad weather came in november, I was overwhelmed with orders and had to start to deliver with my kramer loading shovel, I came home this particular day only to see this old guy waiting in the cold how he got his car up i will never know. I put him 2 bags of logs in his boot and towed his car back onto the main road later on i went back into our yard and saw somthing green by a big stack of duggie fir logs split and sheeted, The old bugger had been helping himself and i must have caught him red handed, Its funny but he has not called again

A lesson to be learned there....get your yard secured so even if your there working away knowone can just walk in giving their eyes a treat!

Sorry BJM that came across wrong you probably sell logs from your yard so you need folk to see what loverly logs you have for sale,in which case only BAN OAPs with green carrier bags!

I suppose there is a chance the bloke was fully intending to leave you some money for the logs but got embarressed when you turned up.
