Yeah, pretty good. I just added an extra over hand knot to permanently shorten the bridge, the rope man was needed for other things!

 

So, Chris, whats the rest of that crap on your harness for :) !!

If the reason for having the Ropeman is so that the hitch can be moved in/away from the body, then I would use a Rolling Hitch. I'm pretty sure this system has been discussed here.

 

It uses a Ropeman too....but in an application where there is no concern about mantle stripping!

 

How about that for dodging the question!

 

it sure has been discussed, we just didnt know there was a name for it!
