One of the guys i work for was done over on the weekend, hopefully get him to put some more details up.

2 260-rear handle on one is broken, damage to chainbreak, worn 16" bars

long reach hedge cutters

backpack blower

(all stihls)

1 black vertex lid

1 yellow vertex lid

2 austria duo2 harnesess- one has a second rope bridge installed+ extra rings.

2 full climbing kits- ropes, spikes etc

properly all the lowering kit too

even took his boots!

Heads up, it sounds like he was cleaned out. Did he have any counter measures in place? was it on the job, at his shop??.

I think we will be seeing an increse in there thefts,if you want protection of a night time & you keep your kit at home,a good quality baby moniter in the garage,and the reciever in the bedroom is a good start for little outlay.

I also run a fishing line across the drive,slip of plastic on the end from a milk bottle,which is held in a wooden clothes peg,the peg has a thumbtack in each jaw & a wire from each tack to a hidden battery & motorcycle horn.

The line at two feet off ground(its virtualy invisible to furtive eyes,and the peg nailed through the hole in the spring to my side hedge,

If they thrip the line all hell breaks loose & they wont find the peg and circuit as its all hidden away.You can add as many trips as you want on their own feed wires back to the battery & horn.

Cheap & effective.
