was a prussek designed for arb?

 

most of the gear and techniques we use are derived from other disciplines.....on one hand we are encouraged to be innovotive and on the other we're told otherwise!

 

Fair point, but it has shown flaws that make it less compatable with our DdRT systems. we still use the prussic the way it was designed to be used and cofiered but these belay devices we are not.

You pull on a sunt it can lock open even when realsed, Under load it is hard to move when it dose move is hard to regulate the speed with the device alown. If you get crap in the top twig leaf saw dust you will have problems you might not have bargined for. ask Petzl they will say not for that aplication.
