Went to peel forest today,About 1.5hr drive from Christchurch,Some native bush in the foothills.

Trees are Totra and kahiakatea.

Its all untouched,Lots of logging went on back in the day for totara etc,There is some old saw pits there but i never found them.Pretty sweet place.
